NOTICE OF MEETING and BUDGET PUBLIC HEARINGS CITY OF LYONS, NEBRASKA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Lyons, Nebraska will be held consecutively after the close of the first and the close of the second PUBLIC HEARING meetings beginning at 5:30 P.M., on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Lyons City Hall, 335 Main Street, Lyons, Nebraska. The purpose of the first Public Hearing is to hear comments of support, suggestions, or objections to the 2021-2022 budget statement. The purpose of the second Public Hearing is to hear comments of support, suggestions, or objections on setting the property tax request at a different amount than the prior year. The regular meeting will follow the Public Hearings. An agenda for such meetings, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall.
