Scrimmages and Skybox Auction, Friday

As the fall sports season kicks off, Oakland-Craig scrimmages are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 20th. Athletic Director Mike Selk is pleased to share the following information for this season.

Come Hungry

There will be a grill-out fundraiser at the stadium starting at 5:00 p.m.  Proceeds from the meal will help the Oakland-Craig CloseUp students.

Come ready to cheer

At 5:00 p.m., the Boys & Girls Cross Country will begin their run in the park and finish in the stadium with the football scrimmage beginning at 6:00.

Volleyball will not scrimmage at this time as they will host Cedar Bluffs in an exhibition match  at 7:00 p.m. on Mon., Aug. 23rd.

The scrimmages will also be broadcast on the OC Striv channel for those who can’t make it in person.  Check OC’s social media pages later for more details.

Sports drink donations encouraged

There is no cost to enter.  Patrons are encouraged to donate non-carbonated sports-drinks (Powerade, Gatorade, etc.).  Boxes will be placed near the entrances for collection.

Skybox Auction Information

The skybox will be made available again for all home varsity football games this season.  The lucky winning group is awarded the following:

*Exclusive access for 12 guests during the game.  This includes the cost of a ticket.

*Soft drinks and snacks for all 12 guests.

*An enclosed, climate-controlled environment.

*Comfortable seating with an excellent view of the Knights as they fight to victory!!

The auction will take place after the Football scrimmage, so stick around and support the OC Athletic Department!
