Advance notice was shown to the public in the newspaper and posted at the Village office and Craig Post Office. A copy of the notice is on file at the Craig Village Office. Board Members present: Chairman, Duane Hinman, Hope Benne, Jean Meyer, Mike Uhing, and Melissa Pedersen. Also present, Bart Meyer, Megan Unwin, Jen Hinman and community members. Meyer, M. Unwin, and S. Skinner. INFORMATIONAL L. Rouse and J. West discussed street sign concerns. A fall community clean-up day was set August 28th. Dumpsters will be available. J. Hinman reported on zoning updates and planning commission meeting with two building permit requests. CLOSED SESSION ITEMS APPROVED A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by M. Pedersen and seconded by J. Meyer. All present voted AYE. Items included in consent agenda: August 12th agenda, July 15, 2021 minutes, and August 2021 claims. H. Benne moved to removed the no parking sign on Nebraska Street. J. Meyer seconded. All present voted AYE. It was moved by M. Pedersen to purchase 15 new water meters to replace/upgrade residents. H. Benne seconded. All present voted AYE. M. Pedersen moved to approve a shed building for a resident. M. Uhing seconded. All present voted AYE. M. Pedersen moved to deny a request to start the process to change a residential property to commercial. M. Uhing seconded. All present voted AYE. J. Meyer moved to adopt Nebraska Basic Code for the Village of Craig Ordinances. M. Uhing seconded. Roll Call Vote: 5 AYE, 0 Nay. M. Pedersen moved to accept Ordinance 2021-1 as read/written. J. Meyer seconded. All present voted AYE. Treasurer’s Report was presented to the board. M. Pedersen moved to accept the Treasurer’s report. H. Benne seconded the motion. All present voted AYE. Meeting adjourned at 8:17 p.m. by a motion from M. Pedersen, seconded by J. Meyer. All present voted AYE.
