City of Oakland, NE Planning Commission Meeting March 5th, 2024, Proceedings A meeting of the Oakland Planning Commission was held on March 5th, 2024, at 6:54 p.m. In the Rosen Room of the City Auditorium. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Todd Cull. Planning commissioners in attendance were Jacob Schieffer, Dan Tanksley III, Darla Nelson, Jordan Swenson, and Matt Johnson. A quorum was established. Also, in attendance were Zoning Administrator Kayla Eisenmenger, and Property Owners Kyle and Tiffany Lechtenberg, Jeff Simpson, and JEO Consultant Isaac Kreikemeier. At 6:00 pm Todd Cull made a motion to waive the three readings of the minutes of December 5th, 2023, minutes and to approve upon correction of the addition of “temporary storage containers” to the minutes. Jacob Schieffer seconded the motion. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. At 6:01 pm Member Johnson made a motion to open the public hearing. A motion was seconded by Member Nelson. At 6:18 pm Member Johnson made a motion to open a public hearing for Conditional Use Permit for LOT: 1TO7&PT TR E BLOCK: 34 RAILROAD ADDITION OAKLAND, commonly known as 101 S Logan Ave. Motion was seconded by Member Tanksley III. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. At 6:26 pm Member Swenson made a motion to close the public hearing, a motion seconded by Member Tanksley III. At 6:26 pm Member Tanksley III made a motion to approve the recommendation of Conditional Use Permit for LOT: 1TO7&PT TR E BLOCK: 34 RAILROAD ADDITION OAKLAND, commonly known as 101 S Logan Ave allowing the front yard setback to be five (5) ft from the property line after the 30ft city row has been done instead of the required 25ft to be presented to the City Council.
