Village of Craig Board Proceedings March 13, 2024 Village of Craig Board of Trustees met for a Public Session on March 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Craig Fire Hall. Advance notice was shown to the public in the newspaper and posted at the Village office and Craig Post Office. A copy of the notice is on file at the Craig Village Office. Notice was posted. Board Members present: Jean Meyer, Sassy Nesemeier, Elizabeth Smith, and Mike Uhing. Also present, Bart Meyer, Shauna Self and community members. Chairperson Melissa Pedersen absent. Read by Shauna Self / Clerk NOTICE OF 2ND PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT 20-PP-007 A. The Village of Craig was awarded CDBG Planning funds of $22,000 for the Craig Street Evaluation and Critical Infrastructure Mapping Initiative. Specifically, $20,000 was used to hire the Village Engineer to conduct an evaluation of all street conditions within the Village, prioritize areas of improvement as directed by the Board, and group into phases that will provide long-term planning for the Village, and mapping the Village’s sanitary sewer system and storm sewer system using GIS technology. $2,000 was awarded for grant administration and audit cost. The Village of Craig has provided the required match of $5,000 for the planning project activities. To date, $25,000 has been used for planning activities and $2,000 has been used for General Administration of the grant. No persons, businesses, or farms were displaced as a result of CDBG activities. There were no additional comments from the community or board members. Public hearing was adjourned and proceedings for regular board meeting followed. ITEMS APPROVED- Frank Komasinski approved for lawn care and miscellaneous work in the village, Motion by Uhing, 2nd by Sassy. All present voted AYE A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Nesemeier at 7:05 and seconded by Smith. All present voted AYE. Items included in consent agenda: March 13, 2024 agenda, February 8, 2024 minutes, March 2024 Claims. Treasurer’s Report was presented to the board, smith moved to accept the Treasurer’s report. Nesemeier seconded the motion. All present voted AYE. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm by a motion from Nesemeier, seconded by Smith. All present voted AYE.
