The Board of Education of the Lyons-Decatur School District No. 20 met in a special session, the 2023-2024 tax request resolution hearing, on Monday, September 11, 2023, in the secondary library. Present were Archer, Bacon, Brehmer, Christiansen, Myers, Petersen, Troutman, and Vlach. Absent: Miller. The open meetings act rules are posted on the north wall of the library. Christiansen opened the duly publicized 2023-2024 tax request hearing at 7:33 p.m. The hearing was called for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request for the 2023-2024 school year.
