VILLAGE OF DECATUR SPECIAL BOARD MEETING August 19th, 2021 @ 4:30 P.M. NOTE: Everyone must use the microphones at the table. The audience must be quiet during the meeting. If you want to ask a question and you are not on the Agenda, you must raise your hand, get permission from the Chairman, and come to the microphone before speaking. If you are on the Agenda the same rule applies. THE VILLAGE BOARD HAS THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE AGENDA AT THE REGULAR MEETING WHEN CONVENED. MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. A COPY OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH WALL. Guests signing in were: Chad Carrier. 1) SPECIAL MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIRMAN SIECKE Roll Call: Hightree-absent, Klatt-yes, Siecke-yes, Troutman-absent, Warren-yes. Quorum Present-yes 2) EXCUSE BOARD MEMBERS NOT ATTENDING THE MEETING: Roll Call: Hightree-absent, Klatt-yes, Siecke-yes, Troutman-absent, Warren-yes. Troutman was excused by the members, he is at the Lee Valley Farm Sale, due to the 1977 basket truck having a $3,500.00 reserve. Roll Call: Hightree-yes, Klatt-yes, Siecke-yes, Troutman-excused, Warren-yes. 1) Garbage Bids: The board had much discussion on the bids from Carrier and King Disposal. Klatt made a motion to except Kings Disposal Bid @ $19.00 per month. With the Village fees of $1.75 for service charge and clean-up day the total for monthly garbage pick-up will be $20.75. Warren seconded the motion. Roll Call: Hightree-yes, Siecke-yes, Klatt-yes, Warren-yes. 3) MOTION TO ADJOURN THE SPECIAL MEETING: Warren motioned to adjourn the meeting; Klatt 2nd the motion.
